The school year is over. . . . .

The school year os over and on to summer we go. It is amazing how fast the years go, yet how slow the days go (at least the days of the week). Mackenzie had her 5th grade party and seemed to have fun. She was awarded a language arts award as well as recognized for her outstanding job as vice president. Between me and her two grandmas, we were the LOUDEST bunch. Actually we were also the ONLY bunch to yell, scream, whistle, you name it. Brody received the presidential fitness award and the language arts award. It should be noted that there are like only 5 awards per classs given, so not everyone receives one. Avery received a medal for family write night as well as the "bling, bling" award. Her teacher had an award for each student and Avery was THRILLED with hers. It was a great way to end the school year. These are great kids.
